Technical Project Manager (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Partner with contract manufacturers, engineering design teams, and supply chain leadership to ensure timely delivery of critical flight and R&D hardware.
• Plan and negotiate with suppliers and engineering teams to meet program technical, schedule, and cost expectations.
• Manage supplier performance, conduct status meetings, and resolve operational issues.
• Communicate program requirements and risk abatement plans to management.
• Drive supplier process development initiatives to improve product design and manufacturing efficiency.
• Support the Rocket Park Site Operations Strategy team in commissioning processes for the New Glenn vehicle.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee/asylee.
• Proven experience in project management within a technical environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project and balancing complex internal and external schedules.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to earn trust and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

Nice to have

• Experience in the design of aerospace electronic controls and fluids systems.
• Experience working with fabrication, electrical, and fluids component vendors.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
