Technical Project Manager - Site Operations Strategy (Aerospace): Supporting site operations strategy and commissioning processes for the New Glenn orbital launch vehicle with an accent on supplier coordination, cost, schedule, technical design, and risk management. Focus on transitioning products from concept to development, managing supplier performance, and solving manufacturing and delivery risks across the Rocket Park campus.

What you will do

  • Support site operations strategic initiatives and the Rocket Park manufacturing campus transformation.
  • Coordinate with contract manufacturers, engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, and program leadership to deliver flight and R&D hardware.
  • Manage budgets, engineering, procurement, and supplier schedules, along with program management status reporting.
  • Plan and negotiate with suppliers and engineering teams to meet technical, schedule, and cost expectations.
  • Track supplier performance, conduct status meetings, manage risks, and communicate mitigation plans to management.
  • Drive supplier process development and transition products from concept into development.

Requirements

  • Project management experience in a technical environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and balancing internal and external schedules.
  • Proactive, service-oriented approach with the ability to build professional relationships and contribute to an inclusive environment.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted refugee or asylee.

Nice to have

  • Experience designing aerospace electronic controls and fluid systems.
  • Experience working with fabrication, electrical, and fluid component vendors.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
