Software Engineer 1 (Java/Angular)

Salary: $52.46–$107.37 per hour

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, enhance, and integrate complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Provide fullstack development support for the AUTUMNATTIC tool using Java, Angular, and Elasticsearch.
• Design and implement algorithms, database interfaces, queries, and software components.
• Debug software, resolve defects, diagnose user issues, and improve system performance.
• Develop and execute software tests, document results, and write or review technical documentation.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to software design, reuse, and development standards.

Requirements

• United States citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with an agency-appropriate polygraph is required.
• Seven years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; four additional years of relevant software engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience developing both front-end and back-end capabilities.
• Experience with Java, Angular, and Elasticsearch.

Nice to have

• Experience with Elasticsearch language analyzers.
• Experience with computer-assisted translation tools such as LILT.
