Software Engineer (Java/Angular)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, enhance, and integrate complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Design and implement Java and Spring Boot backend services, Angular frontend features, database interfaces, and data queries.
• Develop algorithms and real-time solutions that meet strict timing, resource, interface, performance, and functional constraints.
• Debug existing software, resolve problem reports, correct defects, and improve system performance.
• Design software components and system interfaces in collaboration with system and hardware engineers.
• Lead multiple software development teams, coordinate installations, delegate responsibilities, and ensure quality control.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph applicable to the customer.
• At least 12 years of software engineering experience on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Experience with Angular and RxJS for frontend development.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, JMS, Kafka, Java, Oracle, Elasticsearch, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven, Gradle, GitLab, and CI/CD.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; four additional years of relevant software engineering experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience analyzing requirements, designing software, developing algorithms, testing components, and documenting systems.
