Postdoctoral Research Associate (Molecular Biology)

What you will do

• Conduct hypothesis-driven research in cellular and molecular biology with appropriate experimental controls.
• Perform molecular biology assays, DNA sequencing, PCR and RT-PCR amplification, tissue culture, BSL-2/3 work, and CRISPR/Cas9 screening and editing.
• Compile, verify, interpret, and report experimental data.
• Operate analytical instruments and maintain laboratory records.
• Perform and modify documented protocols and assays.
• Present research through grants, manuscripts, figures, and oral or poster presentations.

Requirements

• PhD in an appropriate field.
• Experience conducting controlled, hypothesis-driven research.
• Ability to perform molecular and cellular biology experiments and analyze results.
• Ability to maintain accurate laboratory records and communicate research findings.

Nice to have

• Recent PhD with strong publications in molecular biology, RNA biology, or a related field.
• Experience in cancer biology.
