What you will do

• Perform high-throughput Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) library preparation and sample quality control protocols.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated liquid handlers, laboratory instruments, and sequencing platforms.
• Manage sample intake, processing records, and data integrity in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
• Compile metadata, organize experimental results, and prepare accurate technical reports for clients.
• Follow laboratory SOPs, biosafety guidelines, and quality control metrics while supporting facility operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, genetics, chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, or a related scientific field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least two years of experience performing high-throughput NGS library preparation and associated quality control procedures.
• Experience with molecular biology QC, including nucleic acid quantification and fragment analysis.
• Ability to work with automated liquid handling systems, scientific instrumentation, and laboratory safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift supplies weighing up to 25 pounds, perform repetitive pipetting, and distinguish assay colors.

Nice to have

• Experience operating automated liquid handling systems.
• Experience with Illumina sequencing platforms.
• Experience in a CLIA, GLP, ISO, or research service laboratory.
• Experience using LIMS.
