Assembly Technician (Opto-mechanical)

What you will do

• Build and validate precision opto-mechanical assemblies following strict technical procedures.
• Operate standardized tools including torque wrenches and pneumatic equipment.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and document results in company databases.
• Collaborate with engineers to support special builds and experimental processes.
• Maintain cleanroom standards and prepare completed assemblies for shipment.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and procedural enhancements.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to work onsite in San Diego, CA.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials.
• Experience with precision optical components and ESD protocols is highly desirable.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment wearing required PPE for the full shift.
• Ability to occasionally lift, pull, or push up to 35 pounds.
