Manufacturing Operator 3 - Assembly & Test

Location: Farmers Branch, Texas, United States; on-site full-time role

What you will do

• Assemble and inspect complex products using detailed work instructions and manufacturing procedures.
• Perform precision assembly of miniature electronic and mechanical components under a microscope and with specialized tools.
• Handle sensitive components using ESD-safe practices and maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards.
• Complete incoming, in-process, and final inspections; document defects and support corrective actions.
• Perform approved rework, escalate complex issues, and identify recurring assembly problems for continuous improvement.
• Mentor Manufacturing Operator I employees and support workflow, material, tool, and equipment preparation.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Ability to perform repetitive precision work for extended periods with strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
• Experience reading and following detailed instructions, using microscopes, precision tools, gauges, and basic test equipment.
• Experience with small electronic or mechanical components, visual inspection, and ESD practices.
• Strong understanding of quality standards, documentation, safety protocols, and PPE requirements.
• Ability to stand, sit, or perform repetitive motions for extended periods, wear cleanroom attire, and lift up to 30 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics, SMT, medical device, aerospace, or similar precision manufacturing.
• Basic soldering experience.
• IPC certification.
• Prior experience mentoring or training team members.
