Manufacturing Operator 4 - Assembly & Test (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Assemble and inspect complex semiconductor test products using detailed work instructions, microscopes, precision tools, and ESD-safe practices.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, document defects, and support corrective actions.
• Complete approved rework and escalate complex assembly or quality issues to technicians, engineers, leads, or supervisors.
• Support continuous improvement and new process development with engineering teams.
• Mentor Manufacturing Operator I employees and help team leads prepare workflow, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain productivity, quality, safety, cleanliness, and production schedule requirements.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of related experience.
• Ability to perform repetitive precision work with strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and hand-eye coordination.
• Experience with microscopes, magnification equipment, small electronic or mechanical components, and precision tools.
• Understanding of quality standards, documentation, safety protocols, PPE, cleanroom attire, and ESD practices.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to use gauges and basic test equipment.
• Ability to stand, sit, or perform repetitive motions for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Nice to have

• Experience in electronics assembly, SMT, medical device, aerospace, or similar precision manufacturing.
• Basic soldering experience.
• IPC certification.
• Prior experience mentoring or training team members.
