TL;DR
Networking Analyst (Enterprise Networking): Supporting and improving Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure across multiple locations with an accent on LAN/WAN environments, routing, switching, wireless access, and network security. Focus on troubleshooting complex connectivity issues, optimizing reliability, and supporting VXLAN, firewalls, telecommunications systems, and off-hours operations.
Location: Midland, Texas, United States. Travel to other work sites and occasional on-call or off-hours support may be required. No relocation assistance is available, and employment visa sponsorship is not provided.

What you will do
- Support the design, configuration, and maintenance of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network environments across multiple locations.
- Build and support physical and virtual network and server infrastructure, including IP schemes, DNS, VLANs, and load balancing.
- Configure and maintain LAN/WAN, wired and wireless networks, VXLAN, firewalls, routing, and switching infrastructure.
- Install and maintain network, telecommunications, and related software systems.
- Troubleshoot network, hardware, software, and communications issues and implement performance improvements.
- Provide technical support and assist with network deployments, site travel, and on-call operations.
Requirements
- At least five years of IT infrastructure experience, or at least three years plus an associate degree in computer science, management information systems, engineering, or a related field.
- At least two years of network administration or network engineering experience.
- Knowledge of networking systems, protocols, and operations, including BGP, OSPF, QoS, VLANs, and TCP/UDP.
- Familiarity with data, video, and voice services.
- Ability to travel to other work sites and work off-hours as needed.
- Employment visas are not sponsored, and relocation assistance is not available.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field.
- Experience with LAN/WAN design, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Experience with Microsoft Server, WAN optimization, remote access, storage networking, wireless, virtualization, Cisco Nexus Dashboard Controller, VXLAN, Meraki, or SD-WAN.
- Previous oil and gas industry experience.
