TL;DR
Network Administrator II (Cisco/Meraki/Versa): Supporting and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure through incident resolution, service requests, network expansion, hardware refreshes, and circuit management with an accent on Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting, secure access control, and reliable connectivity. Focus on configuring Cisco Catalyst switches, Meraki access points, and Versa SD-WAN appliances, diagnosing routing and network protocol issues, and executing upgrades and site projects across multiple locations.
Location: On-site five days a week at the IT Building in Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. Travel to sites is required at least once every six weeks, with participation in an on-call rotation.

What you will do
- Receive, triage, troubleshoot, and resolve Tier 1 and Tier 2 network incidents, escalating complex issues to Network Engineering.
- Fulfill standard network service requests and manage incidents, requests, and project tasks in ServiceNow and Azure DevOps.
- Monitor and diagnose network performance using packet captures and network analysis tools while supporting end users with connectivity issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Cisco Catalyst switches, Meraki access points, and Versa SD-WAN appliances.
- Manage WAN and Internet circuits from ordering and installation coordination through activation validation and decommissioning.
- Support network expansions, site buildouts, hardware refreshes, upgrades, integrations, documentation, and on-call response.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–6 years of experience in networking or IT infrastructure support.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and routing fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with switches, access points, SD-WAN, monitoring tools, and Cisco, Meraki, and Versa platforms.
- Working knowledge of TACACS, RADIUS, MAB, and Cisco ISE for network authentication and access control.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week in Grand Rapids and travel to sites at least once every six weeks.
