Network Engineer / IT Systems Support Specialist

What you will do

• Design, implement, maintain, and support local and wide area network infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity, and troubleshoot outages through root cause analysis.
• Configure and support switches, routers, firewalls, wireless systems, and related network equipment.
• Provide help-desk support for hardware, software, connectivity, user accounts, and system access.
• Deploy, configure, patch, maintain, and troubleshoot endpoints across the organization.
• Support secure network environments interfacing with operational technology systems, including segmentation and access controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in network engineering, systems support, IT infrastructure, or a related role.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, and wireless networking.
• Experience supporting end users, devices, and business systems, with strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Person in compliance with 10 CFR Part 810 and may not hold non-compliant foreign citizenships.
• Must be willing to work on-site in Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco network infrastructure and certifications such as CCNA or CCNP.
• Familiarity with cloud networking, endpoint management, network monitoring, firewall administration, and network security.
• Experience with operational technology environments, industrial control systems, and multi-site infrastructure.
