Location: Herndon, Virginia, United States; office or hybrid environment. Occasional travel may be required. U.S. citizenship and an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility are required.
Estimated starting salary range: $180,011.13–$247,515.31 per year, plus annual performance-based incentive pay.

What you will do
- Manage total program integration for the Vindlér product line across spacecraft buses, RF payloads, ground segments, launch services, and mission operations.
- Lead a portfolio of Program and Project Managers responsible for payload development, vehicle integration, mission operations, and customer delivery.
- Own program performance reporting, customer relationships, cost and schedule control, technical execution, and executive-level reviews.
- Supervise cross-functional staff across engineering, RF/SIGINT systems, mission operations, and integration disciplines.
- Plan resources and capacity, manage program risks and issues, and resolve supplier, launch, integration, and on-orbit anomalies.
- Develop proposals and capture opportunities for follow-on tasking and adjacent SIGINT/RF programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, project management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressive project or program management experience in the aerospace and defense industry, including meaningful experience with space, satellite, or on-orbit payload programs.
- 5+ years leading large-scale, multi-year projects and cross-functional teams of 10 or more.
- Experience with proposals, RFPs/RFQs, DoD, intelligence community, or civil space customers.
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, ISO 9001:2015 policies, program integration, financial management, and risk control.
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship are required.
Nice to have
- PMP certification or an advanced degree in business, management, engineering, or a related field.
- Experience delivering RF, SIGINT, ELINT, or communications payloads on orbit, including payload/bus integration, launch campaigns, and LEOP or commissioning.
- Experience with NRO, USSF/SSC, NGA, or other intelligence community customers and their acquisition processes.
- Knowledge of space mission assurance, ITAR/EAR, EVMS, CMMI, Agile, spiral development, cloud-based ground systems, and containerized mission operations.
