Senior Program Manager - Space Systems

Salary: $100,000–$275,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Own execution of complex medium- to large-sized programs across cost, schedule, technical performance, and deliverables.
• Manage programs from inception through completion, including performance baselines, resource allocation, quality assurance, and business-cycle activities.
• Lead customer relationships, program reviews, contract negotiations, reporting, deliverables, and scope changes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers, talent planning, and execution in a matrixed environment.
• Identify and manage program risks, opportunities, and issues while assessing technical and programmatic impacts.
• Lead capture campaigns, competitive proposals, customer relationship development, negotiation, and award activities.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional project or program management experience in the commercial or defense industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related technical field preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management, Integrated Master Plans or Schedules, and opportunity, risk, and issue management.
• Experience with government programs and direct internal and external customer interfaces, including Department of War and/or Intelligence Community customers.
• Current Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility is required; the ability to obtain or a recent CI Poly is also required.
• Strong communication, presentation, relationship-building, business interaction, Microsoft Office, and continuous-improvement skills; ability to travel as needed, potentially up to 25%.
