Program Manager (Aerospace): Managing major satellite and space-system component programs from concept development through production, integration, testing, and delivery with an accent on cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer coordination. Focus on building integrated master plans and schedules, applying risk-based and data-driven decisions, and managing complex cross-functional program dependencies.

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; on-site. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. government authorizations under space technology export regulations.

Salary: $113,000–$136,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead program performance and day-to-day execution for major system components or component production programs.
  • Coordinate concept development, implementation, production, modification, integration, testing, and delivery across multiple program milestones.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact for program management reviews, bi-weekly reviews, and major program reviews.
  • Manage program cost, schedule, technical performance requirements, risks, resources, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Establish integrated master plans, resource-loaded schedules, and work breakdown structures; track performance and generate revised estimates and estimates to completion.
  • Support consistent program management processes and practices across the Space Payloads portfolio.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of industry experience spanning systems or design engineering and program or project roles.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, systems engineering, or a related engineering field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with RF, communications, or satellite systems and a thorough understanding of aerospace and space-system lifecycles.
  • Experience managing cross-functional and decentralized teams, multi-project interdependencies, government customers, and technology integration.
  • Experience with CAM, risk management, EVMS, risk-based assessment, integrated master plans, and integrated master schedules.
  • Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project or Jira.

Nice to have

  • Experience with NASA customers, including GRC, JSC, or MSFC.
  • Experience with the DoD Acquisition Process, Return-To-Green activities, or NRE development programs.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
