Sr. Financial Analyst (Automotive)

What you will do

• Coordinate and maintain internal financial controls and SOX compliance.
• Support standard costing, including material, labor, overhead rates, and cost updates in production systems.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities.
• Manage inventory accounting, physical inventory coordination, and reconciliation between perpetual records and the general ledger.
• Prepare management reports, forecasts, budgets, cost studies, profitability analyses, and new business evaluations.
• Support audits, track capital project expenditures, and recommend cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of accounting, cost accounting, or financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with inventory accounting, standard costing, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Experience working with ERP systems; Plex experience is preferred.
