Sr. Financial Analyst

Location: Fully remote from the United States; listed location is Austin, Texas

Salary: $85,000–$100,000 annual base salary, plus eligible bonus or incentive pay

What you will do

• Lead monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes with business leaders and global finance teams.
• Manage cost centers and advise budget owners on accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and GAAP principles.
• Prepare standard and ad hoc financial reports and deliver variance analysis identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop financial models and communicate financial insights and strategic implications to stakeholders.
• Improve financial and operational processes, documentation, reporting, and financial systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with an accounting emphasis.
• At least 4 years of experience in financial close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office applications, and financial systems.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in a manufacturing environment or the life sciences industry.
• SAP experience.
• Experience supporting financial shared services and related reporting processes.
