Category Manager

What you will do

• Manage assigned categories and optimize the supply base to deliver value to the business.
• Negotiate, administer, and provide day-to-day support for enterprise industrial contractor services agreements.
• Develop and execute category and strategic sourcing strategies focused on cost savings, cost avoidance, revenue enhancement, and risk reduction.
• Analyze category data, total cost of ownership, and should-cost models to support business decisions.
• Develop supplier partnerships, manage performance KPIs, and facilitate issue resolution with strategic suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing projects, including planning, milestone tracking, reporting, and stakeholder coordination; mentor a Category Analyst.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Four or more years of supply chain or relevant business experience.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of TRACK and SAP Purchasing modules and processes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
