Category Manager (Supply Chain)

Location: Easton, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite in the Sourcing Department at World Headquarters

What you will do

• Lead global strategic sourcing, category management, supplier negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
• Develop category strategies covering cost savings, supply assurance, risk mitigation, service levels, quality, flexibility, and delivery performance.
• Analyze market conditions, pricing trends, spend data, cost drivers, technology roadmaps, and sourcing alternatives.
• Develop and maintain should-cost models and provide market intelligence to stakeholders.
• Manage supplier performance, strategic contracts, pricing, terms, warranties, intellectual property, exclusivity, and inventory considerations.
• Support new product introduction programs by coordinating sourcing and supplier qualification activities across global locations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, or supply chain management.
• At least 4 years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or an equivalent field.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing processes and tools in global supply chain and multi-plant manufacturing environments.
• Proven success delivering cost reductions and service-level improvements, including long-term contract negotiations and risk safeguards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
