Senior Category Sourcing Manager (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for private-label healthcare products, balancing cost, quality, and supply chain efficiency.
• Lead supplier cost modeling, profitability analysis, competitive bidding, negotiations, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Build supplier relationships and monitor performance through KPIs, SLAs, audits, quality standards, delivery schedules, and contractual obligations.
• Oversee the product lifecycle from sourcing and development through product launch and final delivery.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• Prepare sourcing reports and use market, cost, and supplier performance data to improve decision-making.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in category management, sourcing, or procurement.
• In-depth knowledge of private-label sourcing, cost modeling, pricing strategies, and competitive sourcing.
• Experience with healthcare product regulations and standards, including FDA, GMP, and ISO requirements.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and supplier relationship management skills.
• Proficiency with sourcing tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
