Supervisor - Environmental Services

Location: Memphis, TN, United States; onsite. Monday–Friday, 5:00 pm–1:30 am, with rotating weekends.

Salary: $22.00–$38.50 per hour.

What you will do

• Supervise Environmental Services Specialists and maintain established work schedules.
• Maintain clean, safe, attractive, and sanitary environments across the hospital campus.
• Ensure sound infection control practices for internal moves and special room-requested cleanings.
• Manage campus space changes and support environmental services projects, programs, policies, and procedures.
• Lead, train, mentor, evaluate, and provide resources and feedback to team members.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, analyze operational issues, and resolve customer and technical concerns.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 3 years of experience in environmental services or a relevant area.
• Experience implementing and monitoring cleaning policies, procedures, and programs.
• Experience leading or monitoring teams, resources, and timelines.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, laws, standards, and safety programs.
• Ability to work onsite in Memphis, maintain regular attendance, work under stress, and frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• One year of post-high-school education in management, business administration, or a related field.
• Leadership training or related leadership experience.
