Support Services Technician (Environmental Testing)

Location: Folsom, California, USA; onsite laboratory position

Compensation: $19–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

hirify.global provides analytical testing services across environmental, food, pharmaceutical, clinical, and other life-science sectors. Eurofins Environment Testing performs environmental analysis for air, water, soil, sediment, tissue, and waste samples.

What you will do

• Clean and prepare sample media for client testing.
• Package and ship sample media to clients using shipping provider websites.
• Build and repair flow controllers and assemble or dismantle shipping boxes.
• Process orders through internal LIMS and manage multiple priorities accurately.
• Safely handle and transport hazardous materials, including liquid nitrogen, compressed gases, sharps, and liquid solvents.
• Work with laboratory departments and perform additional support duties as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or order processing.
• Experience with internal LIMS and shipping provider websites.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, organizational skills, initiative, and collaboration abilities.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds continuously, push carts carrying up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and perform repetitive physical work.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft Office Suite.
