Scheduler - Heavy Civil Construction

Location: Corona, California, United States; work is required from the Pacific Office, and remote work options are not available. Travel to project sites may be required, and the selection process includes an in-person interview.

Base salary: $120,000–$140,000 per year, plus eligibility for a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and preconstruction managers to develop CPM schedules for bids, preconstruction services, and active projects.
• Coordinate project timelines, deadlines, schedule reports, updates, and changes.
• Identify potential delays and support time impact analyses, delay impact assessments, and sequence analyses.
• Prepare action items, schedule updates, detailed reports, and monthly project schedule narratives.
• Train project personnel in the use of Primavera P6 and provide scheduling support to internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain scheduling documentation, filing systems, and accurate project records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in heavy civil construction CPM scheduling.
• Previous employment with a heavy civil, self-performing construction company on projects based in California is required.
• Field knowledge of earthwork, concrete structures, foundations, underground utilities, and subcontractor scopes including electrical, landscaping, and fencing.
• Knowledge of CPM scheduling and Primavera P6, including resource loading, activity codes, time impact analysis, delay impacts, narratives, and sequence analysis.
• Experience with public and private clients and highway or heavy civil construction projects in Southern California, plus knowledge of construction contract administration.
