Senior Scheduler (CBTC)

Location: New York, New York, United States; long-term, full-time, on-site position

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 per year ($84–$96 per hour)

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and analyze integrated baseline and updated schedules for concurrent CBTC, rail transit, design, and construction projects.
• Review contractor CPM schedule submittals, including logic, sequencing, durations, milestones, constraints, resources, and contractual compliance.
• Monitor progress, validate field-reported updates, forecast completion dates, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform change order reviews, Time Impact Analyses, delay analyses, earned value management, and quantitative schedule risk assessments.
• Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, executive briefings, look-ahead schedules, and recovery strategies.
• Facilitate schedule reviews with project managers, engineers, contractors, procurement, operations, clients, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of progressive construction scheduling experience on large, complex heavy civil infrastructure programs, including rail or subway projects.
• Experience scheduling CBTC projects, including delay and claim analysis, Time Impact Analyses, and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis.
• Experience collaborating with signaling contractors such as Siemens, Hitachi Rail, Alstom, or similar organizations.
• Strong proficiency with Primavera P6, including baseline schedules, updates, critical path analysis, schedule comparisons, resource loading, and cost loading.
• Experience with contractor schedule reviews, Extension of Time evaluations, change order analyses, EVM, Monte Carlo simulation, schedule risk modeling, technical reports, and executive presentations.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• PSP, PMI-SP, PMP, and/or CCM certification.
• Design-build project delivery experience.
• Power BI, Tableau, or similar dashboard and KPI visualization experience.
