Construction Project Scheduler

Location: Dallas, TX, supporting projects across the Gulf States Region; travel to project work sites 70+ miles away is required.

Estimated pay: $104,000–$172,000 per year.

What you will do

• Consult with project leadership on CPM, master, look-ahead, design, procurement, and pull-planning schedules throughout project delivery.
• Facilitate collaborative planning sessions with project teams, subcontractors, design teams, owners’ representatives, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Develop schedule updates, narratives, reporting tools, regional standards, and schedule database processes.
• Integrate project schedules with 4D Building Information Modeling and coordinate with the Virtual Design Construction Department.
• Analyze acceleration options, risks, procurement requirements, delays, claims, and notices to support project delivery and risk mitigation.
• Coach and mentor project teams and contribute to scheduling training initiatives across the region.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, plus 8+ years of construction scheduling experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Field and office experience delivering project schedules and applying CPM scheduling theory.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Prolog, Microsoft Project, P6, Asta Powerproject, spreadsheets, project management software, and project control tools.
• Ability to read and understand building plans and specifications; estimating and take-off experience is preferred.
• Ability to travel to project work sites 70+ miles away.
• Strong written, oral, listening, collaboration, relationship-building, integrity, and ethical skills.
