Machinist (CNC and Manual Machining)

What you will do

• Set up and operate manual and CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and related machining equipment.
• Read blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Perform precision measurements with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
• Adjust machine settings, tooling, and programs to improve accuracy and output.
• Inspect finished parts, document production data, and verify compliance with tolerances.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform routine maintenance, and collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification is preferred.
• At least 2 years of CNC and/or manual machining experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics.
• Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, materials, measuring instruments, and inspection techniques.
• Basic math skills, mechanical aptitude, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• CNC programming experience, including G-code.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles.
• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
