Director, Finance Transformation

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; daily office and corporate campus presence required. Travel to other business sites is required approximately 10% of the time.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain a multi-horizon finance transformation strategy and roadmap covering accounting, shared services, FP&A, treasury, sourcing, and procurement.
• Identify and prioritize transformation use cases, build ROI-backed business cases, and track KPIs demonstrating measurable business value.
• Guide finance technology and data strategy across ERP, CPM, analytics, BI, automation, AI, and cloud-native platforms.
• Establish responsible AI governance and scale citizen developer and citizen data scientist capabilities within Finance.
• Design future-state finance roles, operating models, talent profiles, training programs, and bottom-up change management initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and develop the Finance Transformation team while partnering with executive stakeholders, the CIO, CDAO, HR, and the CFO organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in finance, management consulting, or enterprise transformation, including at least 4 years in direct leadership.
• Experience leading large-scale, multi-stakeholder finance or enterprise transformation programs from strategy through execution with measurable outcomes.
• Deep understanding of finance processes including FP&A, accounting, treasury, payroll, shared services, and risk.
• Experience with enterprise finance technology ecosystems and a platform-agnostic approach to ERP, analytics, automation, AI, and data tools.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• Experience with D365, OneStream, Databricks, Power BI, or comparable platforms.
• CPA, CFA, or CMA certification.
• Experience with agile, lean, or hybrid transformation delivery methodologies.
