Director, VAS Finance Ops & Transformation (AI)

Location: Hybrid position in the United States, with at least 3 days per week in the San Francisco office; the posting also lists Foster City, California.

Salary: $170,700–$273,200 USD per year, with potential bonus, equity, and sales incentive payments where applicable.

What you will do

• Lead initiatives that simplify, standardize, and scale VAS Finance processes across planning, close, reporting, forecasting, governance, and decision support.
• Coordinate execution across Central Finance, regional and product FP&A, Finance Transformation, Technology, centers of excellence, and business partners.
• Identify and support practical AI, automation, workflow, and analytics use cases for reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, controls, and executive decision support.
• Translate transformation priorities into execution plans, connect owners and dependencies, resolve delivery obstacles, and embed new processes into daily FP&A operations.
• Drive change management, training, documentation, adoption routines, governance, and controls for new workflows.
• Track efficiency gains, cycle-time reduction, adoption, quality improvements, control enhancements, and financial or operational value.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience with an advanced degree or PhD.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience leading finance transformation, operating model improvements, process redesign, or technology-enabled change in a large, matrixed organization.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate, Power Apps, Excel, SharePoint, SQL, Python, Power Query, or similar tools.
• Understanding of enterprise finance, planning, reporting, and ERP systems such as Oracle Hyperion Planning, SAP, or EPM platforms.
• Strong project management, communication, stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and change execution skills, including practical familiarity with AI-enabled tools and enterprise governance.
