TL;DR
Director, FP&A (Automotive): Owning ERP-based financial reporting, forecasts, dashboards, KPIs, and strategic planning for an autonomous middle-mile logistics company with an accent on consolidated financial statements, liquidity planning, and cross-functional business insights. Focus on building reporting capabilities, refining financial models, supporting Board and investor materials, and analyzing complex operational and financial datasets.
Location: Onsite 5 days a week in Santa Clara, California, United States
Salary: $190,000–$250,000 per year

What you will do
- Own ERP-based financial and operational reporting across Finance, Operations, Sales & Marketing, and HR.
- Maintain financial forecasts covering statements, liquidity requirements, leasing activities, budgets, and scenarios.
- Develop regional KPI reporting and dashboards measuring network performance, efficiency, and profitability.
- Prepare financial statements from the trial balance and ERP system, including international consolidations.
- Support monthly and quarterly close activities, audits, compensation plan analysis, and revenue-sharing reporting.
- Partner with Commercial, Operations, Finance, HR, and other teams to translate business developments into accurate projections and actionable insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or related financial functions.
- Strong ERP experience for financial reporting; NetSuite experience is preferred.
- Experience with international consolidations and consolidated quarterly financial statements.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting, visualization, dashboards, and operational KPI tracking.
- Strong financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, modeling, communication, and organizational skills.
