Senior Director, FP&A - Retail Finance (AI)

What you will do

• Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and operational alignment for Purchasing Power.
• Partner with merchandising, operations, technology, servicing, Accounting, and central finance leaders on decisions and execution.
• Analyze unit economics, margins, customer and cohort behavior, and operational KPIs to improve performance.
• Build forecasting models, operational reporting, and dashboards connected to business drivers.
• Lead practical AI and automation adoption across FP&A, including use-case evaluation and responsible workflow design.
• Develop scalable FP&A processes and lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, operational finance, or related roles, including team leadership and development.
• Proven retail experience is required, including knowledge of unit economics, gross margin management, merchandising, assortment strategy, promotions, and customer cohorts.
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, analytical, communication, and executive decision-support skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or Workday.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Snowflake is valued.

Nice to have

• MBA or professional certification such as CPA or CFA.
• Hands-on experience with Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or AI-enabled forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting workflows.
• Experience evaluating tools and leading practical AI adoption in finance.
