Registered Nurse Ambulatory - Orthopaedics (Orthopaedics)

Location: Stratham, New Hampshire — 118 Portsmouth Ave. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; daytime shift.

What you will do

• Deliver nursing care to orthopaedic patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex.
• Create a therapeutic, caring environment for patients and families.
• Involve patients and families in goal setting and care planning.
• Communicate care plans with patients, families, and colleagues to support continuity across shifts and care settings.
• Use evidence and national or specialty standards to guide clinical practice and identify improvement opportunities.
• Apply clinical decision-making and critical thinking to provide competent care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State Registered Nurse license required.
• Ability to obtain BLS certification during orientation and maintain it throughout employment.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
