System Administrator (Nutanix)

Location: Bolingbrook, Illinois; on-site daily. After-hours support may be required.

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 per year.

What you will do

• Administer enterprise servers, virtualization, storage, and Nutanix HCI environments.
• Manage Veeam Backup & Replication, including backup jobs, replication, recovery, validation, and test restores.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures and documentation.
• Administer SCCM/MECM for application deployment, patching, OS deployment, task sequences, and software packaging.
• Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and network security controls.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Windows systems, applications, devices, and network issues while managing tickets within SLA.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–6+ years of experience in system administration, networking, or IT support.
• Ability to work on-site daily in Bolingbrook, Illinois and provide after-hours support when needed.
• Hands-on experience with Nutanix HCI, including AHV and Prism, Veeam Backup & Replication, and Microsoft SCCM/MECM.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, virtualization, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, customer service, prioritization, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure or hybrid cloud environments.
• PowerShell scripting and automation experience.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and familiarity with the ITIL framework.
• Nutanix, Veeam, Microsoft, CompTIA Network+, or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
