Rotary Die Cut Operator Assistant (Apstar)

Location: Santa Fe Springs, California, United States. Onsite, second shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM; overtime and weekend work may be required.

Wage range: $20.19–$27.31 per hour, based on experience.

What you will do

• Assist the rotary die cut operator with equipment operation and production of finished packaging products.
• Review job tickets for quantities, stock specifications, colors, printing instructions, and customer requirements.
• Support plate mounting, supply cleaning solvents and ink, and communicate delivery-end issues to the operator.
• Inspect finished products, make quality decisions, complete required paperwork, and palletize product stacks.
• Assist maintenance with machine repairs and maintain the cleanliness of equipment and the surrounding work area.
• Collaborate with coworkers and other departments to improve quality and production performance.

Requirements

• Follow safety policies and GMP guidelines in a safety-sensitive production environment.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and people while remaining alert.
• Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate with a wide variety of roles.
• Ability to read a tape measure or ruler, with good mathematical and communication skills.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as business needs require.
