What you will do
- Coordinate general operations, scheduling, space allocation, and maintenance for the Animal Reproductive Biotechnology Center.
- Manage research projects, including planning, design, implementation, reporting, presentations, data collection, and analysis.
- Develop and manage animal care and biosafety compliance protocols, ensuring safe and ethical study execution.
- Manage livestock, animal holding areas, laboratory inventory, procurement, billing, and user budgets.
- Train facility users and coordinate research, teaching, extension, equipment, and building activities.
- Direct support staff, technical personnel, and graduate students assigned to projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Reproductive Physiology, or a closely related field with five years of related experience; or a master’s degree with three years; or a Ph.D. with one year.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a relevant publication record.
- Team-building, collaboration, project management, organization, multitasking, and relationship-building abilities.
- Professional demeanor and ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Work at the College Station/Bryan, Texas research facility is required.
Nice to have
- Research experience in in vitro embryo production or other animal reproductive biotechnologies.
- Experience with livestock handling, animal husbandry, and animal care protocols.
