Commercial Construction Senior Project Manager - Healthcare & Life Sciences

What you will do

• Manage small- and large-scale commercial construction projects from discovery and design through development, implementation, and closeout.
• Maintain adherence to safety standards, company processes, quality control plans, and project schedules.
• Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and justified project time extensions with clients.
• Lead preconstruction and RFP package efforts with the Preconstruction Department and other company resources.
• Support project staff in resolving subcontractor scope issues and maintain positive subcontractor relationships.
• Acquire new work, maintain existing client relationships, delegate responsibilities, and coordinate project personnel.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Successful experience acquiring or contacting at least one new client.
• Ability to manage multiple project management efforts simultaneously.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite.
• A four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is strongly preferred; additional work experience may substitute for a degree.
• Must work in Houston, Texas, United States.
