Project Manager - Building Design

Location: Charlotte or Raleigh, North Carolina, United States office

What you will do

• Manage building design projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction phases.
• Lead and develop multidisciplinary design teams using project management systems and tools.
• Coordinate with clients and sub-consultants to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Build technical expertise and design production capacity through recruitment, staff development, training, and mentoring.
• Support external marketing, planning, client development, and regional or national travel.
• Handle contracts, negotiations, scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, and project quality control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 10 years of related experience, including 5 years of project management experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license; local candidates are preferred.
• Strong leadership, planning, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience preparing client presentations, project memoranda, and reports.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
