Transportation Operations Leader (Supply Chain)

Salary: $85,000–$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Implement carrier performance improvement plans and reduce freight auction costs.
• Own lane sourcing, volume adjustments, supplier selection, commercial bids, and lane change management.
• Lead continuous improvement projects involving digital reporting, automation, work process improvements, and supply network design.
• Coordinate with manufacturing sites, fulfillment centers, carrier partners, and North American transportation operations teams.
• Manage transportation systems, accessorial charges, exceptions, carrier compliance, shipping master data, and service codes.
• Deliver annual savings targets and drive intermodal sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, operations management, business administration, engineering, or a related field; relevant work experience may also be considered.
• 0–3 years of experience.
• Ability to navigate Tableau dashboards and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to develop technical skills with transportation management systems, SAP, Rate Manager, Lane Change Management, and tariff tools.
• Ability to lead cost-savings projects, manage multiple priorities, influence stakeholders, and deliver results.
• Strategic thinking skills and the ability to build short- and long-term business plans.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, KNIME, Python, SQL, or RuleX; training is provided.
