WGL - Manager, Project Management

Salary: $123,800–$180,125 per year, based on experience, education, and skills.

What you will do

• Lead a team of project and program managers within a centralized PMO.
• Govern the planning, execution, prioritization, and delivery of enterprise and capital projects.
• Maintain PMO standards, methodologies, tools, stage-gates, and approval frameworks.
• Oversee project controls, risk management, change control, quality assurance, budgeting, forecasting, and schedule management.
• Align the portfolio with strategic plans, rate case commitments, regulatory mandates, and asset management priorities.
• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory Affairs, IT, contractors, and executive leadership to resolve delivery issues and improve execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, construction management, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive project and program management experience, preferably in a utility or regulated infrastructure environment.
• At least 5 years of PMO leadership or portfolio management experience.
• Experience managing large capital programs and enterprise initiatives.
• Knowledge of utility capital project delivery, regulatory compliance, financial management, risk management, and governance.
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, team leadership, and organizational change skills.

Nice to have

• PMP or a comparable project management certification.
