Maintenance Tech - 12HR PM Shift

Location: Lithia Springs, Georgia, United States; onsite, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule

Salary: $26.25–$38.00 per hour

What you will do

• Inspect, maintain, repair, rebuild, assemble, and test converting equipment, production lines, automation, conveyors, and ancillary equipment.
• Troubleshoot out-of-service equipment, resolve malfunctions, and serve as an escalation point for lower-level technicians.
• Document maintenance work, issues, operating logs, and production delays in CMMS, ticketing, and reporting systems.
• Perform root cause analysis for major downtime events and equipment defects.
• Assist maintenance mechanics with two-person work and support operational maintenance needs.
• Verify corrective actions and confirm that equipment operates safely and effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining conveyor, automation, or robotics equipment.
• Fundamental understanding of industrial machinery and equipment.
• Basic proficiency with multiple software packages, including Microsoft Excel, and experience documenting work in CMMS or EAM systems.
• Understanding of inputs, outputs, and PLC logic, with the ability to troubleshoot these systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and follow Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, PPE, and other safety procedures.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of high-speed manufacturing experience with converting equipment and production lines.
• Experience removing, rebuilding, and replacing belts, gearboxes, bearings, and other major production-line modules.
• Associate degree or trade-school qualification in mechatronics, electrical engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, or a related field.
• Apprenticeship completion or current trade certification.
