Senior Manager, Data Product Management & Governance (Supply Chain)

Location: Raritan or New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States; fully onsite. Up to 10% domestic and international travel may be required.

Salary: $122,000–$187,127.50 per year

What you will do

• Lead business-facing strategy, intake, prioritization, and roadmaps for MedTech supply chain data products.
• Assess use cases, define value, clarify requirements, and translate business needs into product objectives, backlogs, success measures, and release-ready requirements.
• Guide data products through concept, publication, adoption, continuous improvement, and retirement.
• Develop business definitions, glossaries, taxonomies, metadata, documentation, and lifecycle controls to improve discoverability and reuse.
• Partner with Alation, data engineering, architecture, platform, ecosystem, quality, privacy, legal, and regulatory teams.
• Define ownership, stewardship, decision rights, governance forums, and issue escalation paths while mentoring teams supporting curation and marketplace operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree, or equivalent experience in business, information systems, data analytics, supply chain, engineering, healthcare, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in data governance, data or digital product management, or enterprise data platforms.
• Experience with data-as-a-product practices, business glossaries, metadata management, data catalogs or marketplaces, data stewardship, data quality, access governance, and product lifecycle management.
• Experience working in regulated and global enterprise environments, with strong leadership, facilitation, communication, and influence skills.
• Understanding of modern data platforms, semantic layers, medallion architecture, data pipelines, analytics platforms, AI/ML enablement, and enterprise data controls.
• Ability to work fully onsite in Raritan or New Brunswick, New Jersey, with up to 10% travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with Alation or similar enterprise data catalog, marketplace, or metadata management platforms.
• Experience creating data dictionaries, data contracts, certification standards, and governed data product documentation.
• Familiarity with supply chain, manufacturing data, quality systems, product lifecycle controls, or enterprise planning.
• Experience defining scalable operating models, RACI structures, governance forums, and decision frameworks.
