Associate Director Data Master (US) Global Capability Owner (Master Data)

Location: Remote/home-based for US-based candidates only; Philadelphia, PA. The role requires 20–30% travel.

Salary: $160,000–$240,000 base pay annually for US-based candidates, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Define the vision, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and measurable outcomes for US commercial Data Master capabilities.
• Own capability, consent, payer, patient, HCP, and HCO master data management platforms and commercial data architectures.
• Partner with business stakeholders, Global Capability Owners, Tech Leads, development teams, and vendors to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Lead user discovery, validate business value and technical feasibility, and prepare product requirements, user stories, and discovery artifacts.
• Deliver trusted, governed master data and consent frameworks supporting targeting, account planning, access, analytics, reporting, and customer orchestration.
• Monitor adoption, outcome KPIs, engagement metrics, data quality, usability, and performance to guide continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data mastering within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, marketing, science, or a related field.
• Experience in digital product management, product ownership, or managing product roadmap creation and delivery in a cross-functional environment.
• Knowledge of master data management, golden records, match and merge rules, survivorship, identity resolution, hierarchy and relationship management, consent, governance, and data quality.
• Experience with global data platforms, MDM tools, CRM systems, reporting tools, Agile product teams, and product operating models.
• Must be a US-based candidate; 20–30% travel is required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree, such as an MBA or relevant graduate degree.
• Experience with enterprise platform or digital and operational capability product teams.
• Experience in rare disease or specialty brands.
