Senior Data Product Manager, CMC Digital (AI)

Location: Norwood, Massachusetts, United States; 70% in-office and 30% remote. Only U.S. persons—citizens, permanent residents, asylees, or refugees—are eligible due to U.S. export control requirements. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $121,600–$194,500 per year, with possible annual bonus, incentive compensation, or equity award.

What you will do

• Prioritize and sequence data products and AI use cases based on measurable business value.
• Define data products end to end, including consumers, SLAs, acceptance criteria, ownership, classification, access, and lineage.
• Translate Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain challenges into governed, reusable data products.
• Define data quality, validation, traceability, testing, monitoring, and lifecycle requirements for production workflows.
• Drive adoption by measuring usage, gathering feedback, and iterating on delivered products.
• Coordinate dependencies and tradeoffs across data engineering, platform, analytics, business, and domain SME teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, Data Science, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or another regulated industry, with exposure to CMC domains.
• 6+ years of experience defining and delivering data, analytics, reporting, or digital solutions used in production workflows.
• Knowledge of data modeling, data quality, cloud-based data platforms, pharmaceutical systems, and domains such as Veeva, SAP, MES, and LIMS.
• Ability to translate business needs into structured requirements and produce specifications, use case definitions, or data product briefs.
• Understanding of data governance, GxP, data integrity, and compliance requirements for data, analytics, and AI solutions.

Nice to have

• Experience with Veeva Quality, LabVantage, Syncade, or similar MES and LIMS platforms.
• Exposure to dbt, Redshift, Snowflake, medallion architecture, GitHub workflows, docs-as-code, or version-controlled specifications.
• Experience driving sustained operational adoption and contributing to data governance programs.
• Knowledge of agentic AI workflows, RAG pipelines, LLM application design, predictive model prerequisites, or GxP validation readiness.
