What you will do

• Execute daily institutional client coverage across JPY interest rate products, including Japanese Government Bonds, swaps, swaptions, and cross-currency products.
• Support senior sales professionals in developing relationships with domestic and international institutional investors.
• Collaborate with trading, structuring, and macroeconomic research teams to prepare market color, trade ideas, and relative value analyses.
• Handle real-time pricing requests, order execution, trade booking, and post-trade coordination with high accuracy.
• Support client onboarding, account maintenance, and analytics such as trade statistics, hit rates, and share of wallet.
• Coordinate cross-border rates transactions between domestic clients and global desks while following compliance and risk requirements.

Requirements

• 1–5 years of relevant financial markets experience, preferably in fixed income sales, trading, structuring, or trade support/middle office.
• Strong interest in macroeconomics, central bank monetary policy, and interest rate dynamics.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Bloomberg Terminal.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused, collaborative approach.
• Native Japanese proficiency required.
