Architect - Agentic AI

Location: Onsite in Maplewood, Minnesota, United States; up to 10% domestic and international travel. Relocation assistance is authorized.

Expected annual compensation: $188,251–$230,084, including base pay and variable incentive pay where eligible.

What you will do

• Own the reference architecture and roadmap for enterprise agentic AI, including multi-agent patterns, tool interfaces, RAG and memory, orchestration, security, and environment segregation.
• Translate business objectives into a prioritized portfolio of agentic AI use cases and communicate architecture decisions, risks, and value to executive stakeholders.
• Lead the design and delivery of production-grade agent solutions integrated with enterprise systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and Snowflake.
• Define governance, safety, and compliance controls for prompt injection, jailbreaks, data classification, data residency, PHI, and PII.
• Establish evaluation, observability, incident response, and FinOps practices to achieve reliability, latency, cost, and SLA targets.
• Mentor engineers and data scientists and partner with Security, Legal, Risk, and Compliance.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, applied mathematics, engineering, or a science field.
• At least five years of AI engineering experience, including at least two years in generative AI, AI-driven automation, or RPA.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and modern software engineering practices.
• Experience with RAG and memory architecture, cloud architecture and governance on AWS or Azure, and secure enterprise integrations.
• Hands-on experience with agent platforms, multiple model providers, agent evaluation, guardrails, prompt-injection mitigation, and PHI/PII protection.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangGraph, AWS Strands, Microsoft AutoGen, AWS Bedrock AgentCore, or Azure AI Agent Service.
• Knowledge of Mulesoft, SAP BTP, Power Platform, Airflow, Kafka, Kinesis, and FinOps techniques such as caching, batching, and rate limiting.
• Experience with Ragas, DeepEval, policy engines, or enterprise knowledge graphs.
