Senior AI Architect

Location: United States; candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of a hirify.global office or approved coworking location. Consultants may work onsite at client locations based on engagement needs and are expected to work from a hirify.global office or approved coworking location at least three days per week between engagements.

Base salary: $130,600–$135,700 annually, plus an annual performance bonus.

What you will do

• Define end-to-end technical architectures for data and AI projects, including cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, ML/DL model serving, generative AI applications, and agent-based systems.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for senior client stakeholders and align architecture with business objectives, security policies, regulatory requirements, and cost constraints.
• Lead architecture reviews, design sessions, and technical governance forums while removing impediments for engineering teams.
• Oversee projects from advisory and assessments through POC/MVP development and full-scale production deployment.
• Support pre-sales through technical scoping, effort estimation, architecture proposals, client presentations, and workshops.
• Mentor consultants and engineers and contribute to internal IP, accelerators, and reference architectures.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in solution architecture, cloud architecture, or senior engineering with significant design responsibilities.
• Deep expertise in at least two of AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Databricks, OpenAI, Anthropic, or NVIDIA.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture patterns, networking, security, compute, storage, managed AI/ML services, data engineering, machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, and autonomous agents.
• Proven ability to work with senior client stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Fluent French and professional English required. Applicants must already be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Hands-on coding with Python, Terraform/IaC, or similar tools.
• Experience with MLOps, LLMOps, and production deployment pipelines.
• Relevant professional cloud or data engineering certifications.
• Management consulting or client-facing delivery experience.
• Familiarity with AI compliance frameworks and responsible AI practices.
