Solutions Architect – AI

Location: Richmond, Virginia, United States. Employees must be available to work onsite at a client location or hirify.global office as requested; remote work is permitted when compatible with client and company needs.

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year

What you will do

• Design end-to-end AI/ML architectures covering data pipelines, model development, deployment, and monitoring.
• Advise client stakeholders on AI strategy, roadmaps, best practices, and opportunities to apply AI/ML.
• Lead workshops, discovery sessions, solution envisioning, and technical delivery from concept through production.
• Define scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and developers while establishing AgenticOps, CI/CD, model versioning, and lifecycle management practices.
• Support pre-sales through solutioning, proposals, presentations, reusable assets, and AI offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, software architecture, or solution architecture.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering AI/ML solutions in production environments, including Frontier AI, local, and open-source models.
• Experience with API design, microservices, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud AI/ML services, and large-scale data architectures.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and strong communication, analytical, stakeholder-management, and leadership skills.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work directly for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with LangChain, vector databases, and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of Spark, Kafka, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• AI/ML or cloud certifications.
• Experience with legacy systems, architectures, and SaaS.
