Sr Master Scheduler (Aerospace): Leading and enhancing SIOP processes and inventory strategies for aerospace manufacturing product lines with an accent on demand forecasting, supply chain alignment, and lead-time optimization. Focus on developing PFEP manufacturing plans, resizing replenishment systems, and improving forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, and on-time delivery.

Location: West Caldwell, New Jersey, United States; onsite

Salary: $106,200–$141,900 annually

What you will do

  • Lead and enhance Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes for assigned sites and product lines.
  • Develop and monitor Manufacturing Models and Plans for Every Part (PFEP) to optimize lead times and inventory turnover.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to adjust demand forecasts for market dynamics, product launches, and large project purchases.
  • Align demand forecasts with supply chain capacity, material planning, and lead-time requirements.
  • Identify risks and opportunities related to backlog, sales plans, capacity, and supply chain execution.
  • Develop performance metrics, audit processes, and implement cost-effective improvements using Lean and demand-driven best practices.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of experience in forecasting, demand planning, or statistical/business analysis in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kanban, and value stream management.
  • Strong understanding of SIOP best practices and end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Visio, Access, and Project.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or MS/MBA.
  • CPIM or CSCP certification.
