TL;DR
Manager, Master Scheduling and Planning (Aerospace): Leading demand planning, master production scheduling, and S&OP for autonomous spacecraft and other space systems with an accent on ERP/MRP optimization, capacity planning, and cross-functional production execution. Focus on resolving material and capacity constraints, modeling engineering and supply disruption scenarios, and building a scalable team and schedule-health system.

Location: Hybrid work near Denver or Colorado Springs, with some work required onsite. The posting header also lists Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, protected individuals, or eligible to obtain required ITAR authorizations.

Base salary: $125,000–$190,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

  • Lead, hire, onboard, coach, and manage a team of Material Resource Planners.
  • Develop demand signals and master production schedules across concurrent programs.
  • Own the S&OP process and facilitate demand reviews with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.
  • Translate program requirements into production plans, work-order releases, and material demand signals.
  • Resolve capacity constraints, scheduling conflicts, and material shortages through data-driven trade-off analysis.
  • Build scheduling KPIs and dashboards, lead scenario analysis, and improve ERP/MRP workflows and automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of demand planning or master scheduling experience, including 3+ years of direct people management.
  • Experience managing demand plans and production schedules in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing.
  • Deep experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle, including MRP logic, work-order management, and capacity planning.
  • Strong S&OP, analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, communication, Excel, and scheduling-tool skills.
  • Must be located near Denver or Colorado Springs and able to work onsite when required; ITAR eligibility is required.

Nice to have

  • Space-technology or launch-vehicle manufacturing supply chain and scheduling experience.
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification, or progress toward certification.
  • Experience in high-growth manufacturing or new-program standup.
