Chief of Staff (AI)

Location: Remote - United States

Base salary: $160,000–$220,000 per year, adjusted based on experience and geography. Equity/incentive: 0.5%–1.0%.

What you will do

• Prototype, test, and refine agentic AI workflows for internal company processes.
• Convert experimental AI workflows into documented, trained, and scalable operational programs.
• Identify founder bottlenecks and implement human- and AI-driven systems to reduce key-person dependency.
• Own OKRs, leadership meetings, all-hands sessions, quarterly planning, and company performance reviews.
• Drive stalled cross-functional initiatives to completion and prepare strategic briefs, board materials, and decision-support models.
• Define responsible AI guardrails, monitoring, fail-safes, operational maturity, and exit-readiness infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in high-growth technology, Chief of Staff, product management, BizOps, or engineering roles.
• Experience building and managing complex cross-functional programs from 0 to 1.
• Strong systems-thinking skills and the ability to redesign chaotic processes into optimized systems.
• Technical literacy in AI, LLMs, agentic workflows, software development, and API integrations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex, multivariable information.
• English-language application materials required; role is limited to the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience as a founder or early-stage startup operator.
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, scripting, automation, or API integrations.
