Systems Architect, Lead (RF Systems)

What you will do

• Create radar system architectures based on customer requirements.
• Develop and oversee RF-based technologies including proximity and seeker sensors, tactical data links, radar systems, and unmanned RF payloads.
• Track emerging technologies and assess opportunities to improve RF system performance or reduce costs.
• Lead IRAD and NRE technology development with systems, hardware, mechanical, software, and firmware engineers.
• Provide technical oversight for proposals, programs, product lines, demonstrations, technical briefs, and white papers.
• Support system test documentation, verification activities, and assessment of RFIs for product adaptation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 8–10 years of RF-based design experience, or a master’s/Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering with at least 8 years of DoD/DoW industry experience.
• Experience in military or defense system development and delivery, RF hardware production, radar and communications DSP, or radar and communications system design, integration, analysis, or field testing.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and subject-matter expertise.
• Strong organizational, communication, prioritization, and productivity skills.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET DoD clearance required.

Nice to have

• Experience with proximity, height-of-burst, seeker, or fuze technologies.
• Experience with missiles, rockets, or gun-launched munitions.
• Experience designing FMCW or pulsed radar technologies.
• Experience from early concept development through design verification testing.
