Compliance/Customs Lead

Location: Northborough, Massachusetts, United States; onsite. Applicants must be US or Puerto Rico residents.

Salary: $71,250–$102,916.66 per year.

What you will do

• Coordinate national and international logistics, including temperature-controlled shipments, hazardous goods, and products of animal origin.
• Act as the site subject matter expert for import, export, customs, transport, and trade compliance.
• Collect and review documentation and data required for compliant customs entries and exports.
• Resolve complex customs issues and shipment holds with brokers, carriers, logistics providers, customers, affiliates, and internal stakeholders.
• Submit accurate monthly PPC reports to Revenue and maintain continuous audit readiness.
• Maintain the Customs/Trade Compliance guide, Known Consignor and C-TPAT status, and drive AEO attainment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in trade compliance or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of customs classification, valuation, country of origin, and record-keeping requirements.
• Knowledge of export compliance fundamentals, including ECCNs and AES.
• Ability to interpret domestic and international shipping documents, contracts, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Strong analytical, planning, communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders.
